Walking through Harvard Square in Cambridge, Massachusetts is almost always a cacophony of traffic, music, students, and all manner of ordinary, extraordinary, and sometimes odd people. The buildings located here are also an interesting mix of 1700s historic Harvard University structures and contemporary office and retail places. The Leavitt and Peirce Tobacco Shop is my favorite storefront in the square.
