Pete's Coffee Shop
Located on West Main Street at Wall Street, Pete’s was a staple in Morgan Square for 40 years. I remember the white neon “PETES” lit up as we were coming here for steak in the early 70s. The owner, Pete Kleitches, was well-loved and known as “The Mayor of Morgan Square.” This photo is from 1987. This beautiful building was later the popular Abby’s Grille and is now home to The Peddler Steak House.
