As seen from the corner of Saint John and Church Street, The Montgomery Building is Spartanburg’s oldest office building. Constructed in 1924, it is home to The Pharmacy Coffee, James & James Men’s Clothing, and other retail business. Elvis Presley performed two concerts for the citizens of Spartanburg in the historic Carolina Theater. The theater is awaiting restoration.
